They have titled the piece incorrectly. It is not a 3D printer but a CNC machine. A 3D printer, creates a 3D object from string of material.

With that said, it is impressive what they made. It is an excellent project for any one.

I knew i like legos as a kid for a reason, i guess that kit was not very well displayed. That would have been alot of fun.:D

Pretty cool - Lego Mindstorm system. I bought one for my son. Programmable computer control, bluetooth connectivity, etc. You can make darn near anything with it!

I was taking a look last night and found the servos and control unit. When i was young i had a lego Technics. It had a pneumatic cylinder setup but no servos.
