Please could some one remind me of the keyboard shortcuts buttons to control move speed during part being cut (slower or faster)
its Dos "shopbot workshop" ?
"Shift & <" for slower
"Shift & >" for faster

I'll add...You shouldn't increase speed by more than 1 or 1.5 IPS more than current settings because ramping is not recalculated for new speed until you pause the file or the stack runs out of info & is refreshed (mostly 3D cutting).

Is there a keyboard shortcut that will control the rate of plunge and do these shortcuts work if you are running a job in the link?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike...
You can do move speed changes as per the above, but no other options for changes are available that I know of.
As far as plunges when cutting with the Link, there are a few of the parametric settings that can affect this, so what/how would you like to change?

Hi Gary,
My biggest problem is plunging with a 20mm drill bit. Until I get my solenoids set up for my drills my compressor is running steady and when pneumatic sanders are going the drill tends not to plunge deep enough. I've got the plunge rate set pretty slow in the link as is, so when my young helper is sanding I have to keep a pretty close watch on the drill to make sure it reaches it's proper depth. I was hoping that there was a way just to slow the rate when he's busy
Thanks,
Mike:)

Mike...
As far as I know, there is no fix for your intermittent needs, other than to slow the whole file plunge rate for that bit.
I am sure that the dual control for the drill will remedy this problem, as many with compressors smaller than your 15HP dont suffer from low air pressure. Did you get your parts ordered?

I had the Boss look into it today. She was inquiring about the part#.I'm guessing it has been ordered. I'll find out for sure soon enough;). I'll give you a call when I recieve them.Thank You for your help!
Mike
