OK, another beginner question. I want to make some panels with some carvings on them. For discussion, lets assume I am an idiot, someone who does not know anything, a total nincompup. Anyways. How do you set up panels, find 0,0 or do you center on panel? Do you have machine cut out actual size of panels. Do you put panel edges on before carving? Do you have a jig set up for exact 0,0. I am just totally lost as to where to begin. Any suggestions. I want to make some educated mistakes, but I want to start off on sort of the right track.

I agree with Steve. There are a good number of Botters in TX. You might want to post in the "Looking for ShopBotter" section for one of these guys that could show you the ropes.
