I have used the amtek vaccuum ( 1500 hrs) and shop vacs (1000 hrs) and a fein setup (1800 hrs) All worked adequately for my purposes, mostly 4x8 panel processing. I have the opportunity to buy some gast r-2103 regenerative blowers 1/3 horsepower 42cfm and about 30 inhg, mostly used in commercial aquaculture ponds and septic for air induction. Any one have on opinion on how these would work for hold down. Thanks for your input

Bruce
check those specs again, that should be 30 in h20
won't work for hold down.

Bruce...
Very few regens under 10HP will work for ULDF bleeder hold down for sheetgoods. Most that are good are at or over 15hp.

That's a lot of suck but not a lot of air flow. Might work for a gasketed fixture where air infiltration is negligible, but not for sheet goods where you will be cutting through into the spoilboard.

Carl is right. Specs say max 30 inH20 Not even 3 inHg.

THANKS FOR THE REPLIES, I went ahead and ordered a couple of the lighthouse vac's until something presents itself since a I really want to stay single phase. At $139 each its hard to beat
