Can notes be added to PartWorks files

Is there any place in the PartWorks program to input notes for the file. For example if minor varations were made, I would like to be able to input details on the changes that I did. I find that I end up with a lot of files with out knowing the details of the version many months latter.

The ability to attach notes to both a file and toolpaths were added in a later version (2.5 I believe). You would need to upgrade your copy to get those features (plus many more).

Most times I copy a toolpath and title it to show some extra information....

such as / aa Mat 4 5 x 20 HP 2 2

The "aa" will make it show at the top of the list when you save it to the folder.

The rest means the material is 4.5 by 20 inches with the home position at 2,2 The toolpath is not actually used.

Add text to the design using the text tool. Just don't cut the added text. I still use this method for notes about a complicated cut or setting.
