Hey everyone. Hope all are busy. One of my random orbital sanders died on the weekend and where I live you just don't go out and buy good quality ones off the shelf. I decided to pick up whatever I could to get through the weekend and then order a higher quality first of the week from regular supplier. I dropped into our local Canadian Tire store and bought a Black and Decker Cyclone ROS. I am going to admit I am not a fan of B & D stuff. This sander has a built in cyclone vacuum to collect dust.....yeah right that is just gimmic and useless! To my surprise it collects dust like a dream. I have been sanding mdf doors today and emptied the dust container 5 times. Usually I run my large DC at the bench to help suck airborne dust but with this little sander I didn't need to. It is certainly underpowered but did a great job.
Now I am not telling you this to promote the tool nor am I affiliated in anyway shape or form. I just thought perhaps some other botters may want to give it a try and stop eating so much dust. Can't beat the price...$39 CND.:)
