I have a PRS Standard BT32 and am using Partworks 2.505.
I'm cutting all the way through 2" pieces, so I have little Z travel left above the piece I'm cutting. I start with the tool .5" above the surface of the piece, but the post processor writes in a JZ .8 move which is beyond the machine's limits. I've been going into each file and eliminating this move. Is there a way to keep the post processor from writing this in? The Z1 is set at .2 in my material setup. I'm using the Shopbot (inch) post processor.

Richard,

I think you will find that is being controlled by the Home Z position. Try setting that lower.

'Slaps forehead'! This is what the Christmas rush is all about, dumb user mistakes.
Hey, Tim, thanks for the quick response. This is why I bought a Shopbot, not only for the fine tool, but for the superb users on this forum!
