Vista question

On a backup Vista computer I have

72 processes going, about 140 services,

CPU usage is at 51%, Physical memory 53%

1.73 GB free of a 73 GB hard drive... things are a bit slow.

What is proper, and how or where do you clean this stuff out ?

An idle computer shouldn't be pulling that sort of CPU. Have a look in Task Manager and sort by CPU useage to see what's pulling it all.
