Hi

Have a panic job on an acrylic trophy with expensive customer supplied material. Keep getting "parameter value below range for VS setting to lower limit 0.05!

Havent altered anything in VS values and we are worried that we will get welding at this slow speed. We v-carve perspex all the time at 0.5 per sec.

Many thanks

Check the feed rate of the tool you selected for your toolpath. It sounds like you may have it set for inches/minute instead of inches/second. You will get that error if the move speed in the file is set at less than .05 ips.

Two red faced mugs in Australia can only say thank you for pointing out the bleeding obvious! I can only say again what a fantastic community the Shopbot "family" has - nothing else comes remotely close. We were blown way when Ryan helped a guy on Xmas day! No other company would do that!

Our problem was design computer upstairs and workshop computer had different tool data bases. This now fixed! By the way we worked out what VS stands for - VERY STRESSFULL!

Again thank you!

I'm not sure of your time zone but between the guys who are on during the day and some of us who are on at nite you shouldn't have a problem getting a answer anytime you need it!

Another thing that through us was we thought we had a coms problem. On pressing stop or space bar nothing much happened and the program appeared to hang. A bit tricky!
