I bought a stepper motor from MPJA. I'm almost ready to connect the wires to try it out. I have a Benchtop Shopbot with a 4G board. On the Benchtop unit
one of the four motor connections is not used since there are only three stepper motors. I intend to use the unused connection for the rotary axis stepper
motor.
On the control box the order of wires from top to bottom on the connections is; Red, White, Black, Green.
From a post on the Vectric forum I know that I need to use white and white-green for the A coil and black and red for the B coil.
Does this mean that I should connect to my board in the following order; from top to bottom: Red, White, Black, White-Green?
