it is a interlocking boxmaker site. Just enter you height, width, depth and it spits out a pdf. I made this 6x12 box in a few seconds

Wish I knew about that little program before I made these from scratch!

I think you can get the code from his website. https://github.com/rahulbot/boxmaker (https://github.com/rahulbot/boxmaker) It would be nice to have the app.

it looks as though this was made with cutting it on a laser in mind because of the sharp corners. I guess you could go in and make rounded corners manually.

Sure, just import the PDF into VCarve Pro, add dogbones and you're done. :)

Oh my goodness! What a very nice piece of code! I have been wanting to add some drawers under my TS and have been putting off the project cause as you all know if you own a Bot ya' just can't make simple boxes and call em' drawers! :) Thanks Jack, very cool link indeed! I love it. Russ

That's exactly what I did...except I had to SEE it assembled in 3D before I actually made the final files. For $26 I made 3 complete crates 40X46X18 that zip tied together. 2 sheets of OSB gets you 3 crates, plus 3 2x4s cut to 46". I also got 9pcs 4X40" for under the 2X4 risers.

Next time I am not going to get all fancy with the corners. I'll just tag a 2x2 in the corners and shoot them together. It takes an hour to zip one together

No wonder it's taking you so long to get the darn new shop ready if you're mucking about with this stuff!!:D

look up the word "perfectionist" in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of Brady. lol

The good thing is you don't waste a lot of time cutting to find out it don't fit by doing it his way.

I am sure someone could post an "exploded cabinet" from Cabinet Vision..... they get a bit wild.

Yeah well...sad as it may seem, that was the 1st project I did for myself in a REALLY long time! I wanted cheap crates to move all my **** down to the new joint. I figured, "It's for ME! Why not make it complicated?" :D

A few years back I wrote a VB6/RhinoScript program that would dynamically draw on the screen a complete crate (6-sided) from material thickness input. It would tab/dovetail the edges, dogbone the corners, add holes for zip tie assembly and everything...Sad to say, hard drive crashed, and I lost all my files...So this was a continuation of sorts of that project. This one was drawn just one size. I didn't have time to make it parametric...

I've got a few neat paying projects that are 'on the level' that I just haven't had time to post...some pics on shop computer, others in office etc. I'll post some when I get back from 'the road'.

Interesting piece of software, would have been handy a few years back but I'm now use to making all my own stuff exactly the way I want... I have sent this link to a few CNC/Laser friends who could find this very useful.
