This is a simple z zero for zeroing off the table surface. the simple custom file just to the location zero's then asks for the thickness and zero's again.
I use a straightedge to get it flush with the table. with the two knurled knobs it is fast and easy to adjust after flattening the spoilboard.
I just used some 5/16" brass all thread and knurled knobs. a piece of aluminum threaded for the rod and the grounding wire is screwed to it.

I should try that on mine - I'd use a big magnet set to hold it to the 'bot though.
