I think this guy has the right idea on adapting this as a lathe and i can see how possibly it could be adapted as an indexer

I have seen people turn larger things on a normal lathe. The car has the torque to rip your arm right off.

now that is how to do it! I knew I was missing something on my indexer plan! Time to add a 4 axel to the bot.

Well, I'm in North Eastern Ontario... and he cant be too far "North" in Canada, to have no snow in January...:rolleyes:

That's crazy, an 8N Ford would have been a better choice. Set and leave hand throttle, better low end torque, built in work shield (the fender) etc...

Yup...Could make it CNC with a hydraulic controlled carriage :D
