So,
I finished designing a couple of files, basically ringwork for cues.
12 slots of .038", you can see the files attached. The problem that I have is that the Shopbot desktop is not translating what I have designed. The length of the pockets and depth is correct but the spacing has nothing to do with what I have drew.
Has an example the file swring920 has a spacing of 0.083" and it did cut a spacing between 2 slots of about 0.050".
Not sure what do... Do I have a bad post processor for the indexer?

I was just review an email I got from Chris @ Shopbot that said the following:

There are 2 values to change for your indexer:

First change the VD values from 3 axis to 5. Did That

Then set the VU value to 33.3333 for the B axis. Did that as well

If you now give the command, MB,360 you should get 1 revolution I did not get 1 revolution and that the problem. Just wondering what is the correct VU value?

That will change the indexer to move in degrees.

I don't know off the top of my head what the gear ratio is on the Desktop indexer - since it is so new. You can get very close to what the VU needs to be by increasing or decreasing the number (E.G. - 33.3333) if it is not rotating to the right spot when commanded to go 360 degrees.

Put a piece of masking tape on the chuck and mark a line with a pencil. Put a sharp V-bit in the spindle. Align the spindle to the center of the indexer, and then rotate the indexer until the mark lines up with the point of the v-bit. Then ZB. Then MB 360. If it doesn't go far enough, return to your mark with MB 0. Then increase the value, say 35.000 and command it to MB 360 again. You'll have to repeat the process until you sneak up on the number needed to get it dialed in.

I got mine by doing what Brady said and came up with 40. I would still put the tape on to try this though.

Well,
Problem resolved...
The issue was the speed of B. It was set to .01 and as soon as I changed it to 100 all worked fine. By the way, the VU unit vale is 33.3333.
