I was trying to find the fein motor the exact one and found this guy.

it's the only place I found it but it has a little higher " rating and more cfms then I have found in any of these motors. the price reflects it too.
well this one has pretty good cfms not quite as many " but it has one of the highest rpms but rated for 1500 hours.

Its only a 2 stage vac, and it falls off fast.
The lighthouse brans is 3 stage and holds its vacuum inches at a higher flo

somebody needs to find a single phase regenerative blower with similar specs to 4-6 of these motors.

I found a blower that only costs about 900 that equals one of these (G)
but these guys unless I can solve it will be noisy. I get my mufflers tomorrow and I will see what they do about noise.

I am curious as to which blower your referring too. I don't know if its physically possible to meet or exceed the performance of 4 central vacuums motors with a 3-5hp 240 volt single phase blower.

Long term I would really hate to rely on overloaded universal motors spinning at 29k RPM. The other draw back is that they don't really come with a proper housing.

If I were not limited to 100 amp service I would consider getting a phase converter an a 10-15 hp regenerative blower but thats not going to happen until I find, or build a more industrial space to work in

I was just looking around and blowers in the 900.00 range were specked out at about 1 of the motors we use. though quite a few in that price range were rated less. look on ebay and anything less then about 1000 may have more cfms but lower" or less of both. it seems most of the blowers I have seen don't pull any more inches then the 110 motors we use. though they outdo them in cfms. but two 110 motors move more air.
Myself I want more inches as that would help more with holding thin plastic down.
