Hey guys, I need help finding a smooth faced engineered siding panel (the kind that goes on storage sheds). LP makes a product called SmartSide which is basically OSB with a hard topcoat that comes pre-primered. They have the option of getting it without the grooves (which I need) but the only problem is that it has a very textured topcoat to look like cedar grain. Does anyone know of an engineered panel with a smooth top coat?

PS. MDO won't work because of price point. These SmartSide panels are in the $20 sheet price range which is close to where I need to be at. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. The Hardi Board won't work because of weight. I'm making kid's playhouses and the panels can't be that heavy. I looked for the masonite siding but couldn't find anything. The NewWood looks pretty cool, but they only have it available on the West Coast and I'm on the East Coast.
