Looking for a shop botter close to me

I live in pikeville ky. (eastern tip of ky where ky joins virginia and west virginia. I would like to come to a shop that makes signs and spend a day watching. I need to learn to v carve signs... There is no one within 200 miles making signs that are carved. Willing to drive up to 200 miles..

Please let me know.. So i can set up a time .

There must be a reason why that is, Eugene. With some clever marketing you could have a decent customer base. V-carving isn't hard. I'd be glad to show you, but I'm three states and 500 miles away...

Eugene, There has to be some V-Carve ShopBoters close to you. I am in SW corner of Michigan and it would be a long drive for you but your more than welcome if you want to come some weekend. I know that there is a free one day V-carve camp coming up in Fort Wane Indiana on March 5th. I can send you info in a PM if you want. I am in Radford, VA about 160 miles away if you come down US460. I don't do shopbotting full time, but you are welcome to come on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. You can bring some blanks and I can show you the ins and outs and let you carve some with my machine. I have Aspire/Vcarve Pro.

Eugene, I'm right on the KY TN line on I-75. I'm about 125 miles south of Lexington. I've done a little V-carving, so I don't know how helpful I would be. I'm not aware of anyone doing v-carved signs anywhere in my area as well.

I'm 300 miles away and have done 2D and 3d carving, i can't believe there aren't closer bots. You might try calling shopbot since they have a list of guys willing to demo their bots and there might be someone closer to you that might not frequent this forum. If you can't find anyone closer then email me.:)
