I was looking at this for ideas, and noticed there was no discussion of the "tailstock". How was that done? I couldn't see any bearings back there and can't tell if its designed to rotate.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Here is the "other half" of the picture which was posted. As you can see from the close up there is a tail stock ( not "live" if I remember correctly, but Jay, or Ed might be able to clarify that point...).

I just use a live center for a lathe...MT #1 if I recall correctly. Let me know if you need more info.

Is that why you have two pieces of ply on the tailstock end-- to control for Morse taper? Would make sense.

That's just clever as heck. I'm looking at using a spare sb control box to set up a separate indexer station. Seeing how someone else got over some of the hurdles has gotten me off the bench to move forward.
