View Full Version : Benchtop Dust Skirt

I received my Benchtop this weekend and am getting it together. Was wondering if it is OK to trim the dustskirt. I am running the PC router and the skirt is way long. I've tried adjusting it and even lowering the bit. Doesn't help much. Thanks, Oscar

I had the same issue with my dustskirt. I didn't want to ruin a perfectly good dustskirt, they are $28 to replace, so I made a shorter version using plastic from a one gallon milk jug. It works OK. After trying the experiment I don't see any reason not to trim the original skirt.

Cut about 1/2" and it works pefectly. Thanks, Oscar
