exterior garden bench

I have someone who wants me to machine parts to make for a bench they are going to assemble and sell to a local golf course. They need 18 benches made out of an exterior wood and they got the plan from wood magazine. I can't make the parts by hand efficiently enough to make it worth my while. I am new to shopbotting and i have only cut sheet goods. I have a 5hp hsd spindle so i think i have plenty of power to cut the 1.5" hardwood, my concern is hold down strageties and drawing and toolpathing in vectric. My current hold down system is 4 LH motors thanks to GC, Brady, and others. I was thinking I could make jigs out of melamine with mechanical holdowns that I could hold down with the vac system. I have a festool domino that i was contemplating using for the mortise and tenons, or use the SB for as much as I can and then use my mortiser and table saw for the areas that are too difficult to machine with the SB. Any feedback would be appreciated before I screw up stock or loose too much money on the SB learning curve (education costs). If anyone wants to see the bench or plans I could email it to you. I don't know if that will be a violation of some licensing agreement.

You could use tabs and screw down in the waste

Send them to me and if nothing else i could tell you the best way to hold down or a type of jig you could make. Although i have a full vacumn table i only use it when cutting full sheets. I guess i don't trust it as much as my mechanical jigs that i made. myxpykalix@hotmail.com
