I am looking for some that costs less then the 20.00 a foot mcmaster but that is pretty durable.
hopefully one that does not stain like this did with padouk.

ha ha amazon told me i bought this same item in sept of 2004 and it still works good for me after 8 years!:D

you could save yourself some money and get a lot more hose if you put your reducer at the top by your metal duct and use the 4" down to the router head.

I replaced some with heavy duty rubber hose from mcmaster and man did that cause a static electricity problem.

Why? Leave the bare copper wire out of the mix or what?

it was the down pipe on my clearview cyclone. I have all the ductwork grounded but not the cyclone. once in awhile I may get a small shock but not a big deal. but after putting the hose on I would here this crack sound once on awhile a customer saw a very large spark coming from the cyclone. So I ran a copper wire from the pipe and around the cyclone to the wire in the pipe. but that was not enough even the ss hose clamp holding the pipe would zap me so I had to ground that too. I also ran a wire to the metal clamp holding the lid on.
