Found this website, http://paulrowntree.weebly.com/warpdriver.html today for a program called warpdriver.
It takes your Vcarve code and curves the surfaces, like a raised protrusions or dished shape and allows your to carve text or artwork onto it.

Yes it does...So does ArtCAM.

I think this little 'plug-in' is a poor man's "jump thru hoops to kinda get the same effect for 10x the effort" kinda thing. A perfect illustration of why investing in the better software will pay for itself many times over.
