Metal Trim for 1/2" Thick MDO

Has anyone ever wrapped MDO in metal trim. For both the look, and the durability..

I'm looking for a supplier of black metal "u-channel", does anyone have any ideas where to find it?

Most home centers also have raw U channel. Paint it before you place it. That said, I still use plastic trim. MDO itself won't outlive the plastic, so why spend extra money on metal?

Where do you purchase your plastic? I'm fine with plastic, as long as it looks nice.

A good almost all in one source for plastic and aluminum extrusions is Outwater Plastics. Their catalog is a must have on the shelf.

Search the term "edge cap" with other suppliers. I've found Outwater to be on the expensive side.
