sharing files between bots

we have an O.G. prs alpha and just got a brand new one! I have a file on a thumb drive saved as .art when I try and open it on the new bot it says cannot open Code 2?

do i need to convert it?

.art is an ArtCam file or Parts Wizard file you need to open in AC or PW & save the toolpath out with the Shopbot postprocessor to open in the SB control software

not sure i understand what you mean by save the toolpath out with sb post processor?

He means to save the toolpath from the design program. .art is the design. It needs to have a toolpath created by the artcam product that produced it and then saved as .sbc
Try to open the art file with your copy of partwizard.
