Does anyone have a metric Indexer post for Head 2 they are willing to share.

Many thanks

Just to clarify what you want... " for head 2" do you mean that your indexer is on axis A rather that the normal "B" ... or do you mean that you have two indexers?

Are you wrapping the X axis or the Y axis? usually indexers are in degrees and independent of metric/imperial designation...

edit:
I see that my PP says "inch" and I don't see any listed as metric. I obviously don't know something here!

Hi Steve,

My indexer is on a PRSAlpha running parallel to my Y axis wrapping the X axis. My main spindle is Z, my second spindle is A and my indexer is B.

I got the Metric indexer post from Vectric.

I would like to have two tools set up and combined in one file using the MasterMaker from Shopbot.

I'm glad you got the PP you needed!

I know it's off topic but since you brought it up... What do you mean by "two tools". Do you mean two ShopBots or are you talking about using your two Z's as a defacto tool changer? Also is there a newer version of "MasterMaker" than the 2007 version that doesn't recognize HDD's other than C:\ ?

Paul...
It sounds like you are looking for a metric version of the MTC post with indiexer output. I am not sure that one exists, but will check on it tomorrow.

Steve,

That's correct, I want to use two Z's as a defacto tool changer.

Gary,

I think that is exactly what I need, I hope you have one !!!!

Many thanks

Paul...
We have one here that you can test. It has been used here, but with an ATC and an indexer. Send me an email to gary.campbell (at) shopbottools.com and I will send it back
