Bill, if you connect thru Seattle to Vancouver, my son just might be your pilot on Horizon Airlines.

If I have the money and the time I will try to attend this year.

Kelly thanks for the RSVP.
Don, I hope you can make this one. I usually fly directly into Portland, OR because it's right across the river, and a short drive to David's shop from there...

The Northwest get together is just around the corner sooooooo. I'm in. Let's let the group know whose coming. I would like to hear about the 3d printing capabilities.

Russ

P.S. Bill can we have just a couple more choclate old fashioned this time, please?

Russ,
There's going to be an e-mail sent from Durham to all Shopbotters in the area shortly, so we should start to get some numbers together soon.
The 3D printer is still a work of art in progress, but I'll be speaking with a few of the people playing with it in the next few weeks so I can then pass along anything I learn at the Camp.
PS- I'll make a note of your special dietary requirements...

Please count me in.

As for topics to cover, may I meekly request that you address newbie issues, for those of us who are just looking into trying to decide how to set up a CNC?

Gene,
I will add your name to the rapidly expanding group. There will be an e-mail sent out shortly as there is No way to know who reads the web page, and Forum so I expect the numbers to increase a few times before the Camp kicks off...

Termination dust is on the mountain tops surrounding Anchorage so winter is not far away. Therefore, this will be the last bit of fun in the sun I'm planning on attending the festivities.

This years NW Camp ShopBot was a great event. My family and I had a wonderfull time hosting it. As usual Bill dispenced a wealth of knowledge about the various aspects of opperating a ShopBot. My daughter is anxious to further hone her skills in design and cutting (as am I). We esspecialy enjoyed talking with every one about how they us their machines. The ShopBot community is a very unique group of people, and I thank ShopBot for their ongoing support of these gatherings.
