PC to Mac to PC ?

I currently have a PC and my ShopBot Buddy runs on a PC however I am considering purchasing a MAC. IF I do purchase a MAC then I will have to transfer all my PC shop bot / Part Works files to the MAC, then make edits or write new PartWorks files on the MAC then output those files to the PC that runs the bot. Is this wise and will I likely encounter problems? Anyone been down this path before and wished they hadn't?

it's easy enough to network them together. but myself I much prefer the aspire software from native windows verses from parallels or such. the hotkeys don't work right on a mac keyboard and it is smoother.

I have a mac for my internet and home use, have tried the shopbot on it a couple years ago and it hasa few bugs, just doesn't work as smooth on the parellels, I run my bot and design on a seperate standalone never hooked to the internet windows xp pro and it works great and has for years,not much support around for the mac on the shopbot stuff anyway, if your a wiz maybe ok, but not for me.
