I just went minimalist because that's what I like, I did this as soon as I started working with the Buddy. I should say that my dust collection is probably above par, I have an industrial 1 micron air cleaner above the bot, and I keep a super clean shop. I have a backpack blower for the yard, it works great to blow the dust out of the shop. I've learned to keep paper and stuff pinned down so things don't go flying. :)
I've had pneumonia twice, and I have a lot of years ahead of me in the shop, so I try real hard to take care of my lungs.

I made use of the structural rail and just used a couple arms and knobs to get what I wanted, plus there's almost infinite adjustment. I know everyone likes what they like, and there are tons of ideas out there. I just wanted the laptop out of my way and not poking me in the ribs when I walk by. Plus I can move the Buddy wherever I want in the shop and the laptop is right there and ready to go.
I'll just let the pictures do the talking...

I used wide velcro to hold down the laptop, watching out for the venting ports. It holds the machine up and allows me to blow it out regularly.

While I'm working at the machine...

I swing it around so I can work on both laptops at once when I'm transferring files or whatever. I have a couple highback Kobalt shop bar stools and I can just spin around real easy. It's a nice setup and saves me time.
