I ordered 5 - 80 grit - 6x89 inch belts last week. When I received them I discovered my sander had decided it would rather have the 108 inch long belt.

Since it was my mistake I would rather not try to return them. I will give them to the first forum member who sends me a pm with their shipping address.

They will fit the Grizzly G0563, 2 HP Edge Sander. I believe Delta also makes one that uses the same belt.

I can ship them from work so the shipping will also be free.

Couldnt you just put them in the belt stretcher? I have one of those right beside my wood stretcher.. thats for when you cut a piece of wood too short. :)

Is it odd that i make my own belts for that reason?
(leather work is my hobby i'll leave it at that)

I think it was very inconsiderate of that sander changing itself from an 89 inch to 108 inch without telling me. Must be the humidity

Good news is they were fairly cheap and the member who answered the add first will get some use out of them.

Especially as machinery gets older things like that tend to happen. Also i dont know why that company sent you what you asked for instead of what you needed?Whats next!!
