help with Dust Collector on PR machine

Since adding a 2nd Z-axis to my PR I'm struggling with getting a dust collector in there. I had a small Dewalt DW610 and a palm makita router in the machine. The Dewalt wasn't cutting it as the primary device, so I reinstalled the Porter Cable router today. There is very little room for a dust collection to fit in there. Does anybody have any photos of how they did it. I would imagine you could fit two PC routers in there, but no idea how the dust collector would fit then. Here's a photo of the dust shoe installed. It worked with the Dewalt in there, but there just isn't enough room now.

The only thing I can come up with is to offset that little makita away from the collection hose to get bit more room, but I'm not certain I like that idea.

Couldn't you just place the "tube" for the collector on the OUTSIDE of the router bay? It might mean that you'd have to build a longer base, but that shouldn't be too big of a deal...

That was something I looked at, but it minimizes our travel in the y- direction which is important to our system. I've actually pushed both Zs as close together as possible and moved them towards the x=0 end of the car. I now have a fairly sizeable opening behind the z with the PC on it. I think I'm going to try to come in there and get a bend in the suction pipe so it draws air past the cutters rather than parallel to their axis... sort of like the collector on the newer machines.
