Hey Guys

I got a job making some chairs that require a mechanism made in Canada.
They asked if I had a shipper.
Have any of you use a shipping company to bring in parts from Canada?
I could use some help if possible.
It could be a pretty good project!

Thanks
Erminio

No but I've imported lots from the USA and the procedure should be the same. Hire a brokerage firm to do the paperwork, and they also collect the tax and customs fees ( if any) and submit them to the government on your behalf. You pay them a fee for doing so.

If the package is less than 50 lbs., I use Canada Post.

My American customers request that I not use any courier company, since they get raped with brokerage fees. USPS charges a very small fee for customs brokerage if the package has a value of $200.00 or more. You won't have to pay duty or use a broker if the value is less than $200.00.
