I am ready to order my Lighthouse vac motors to build my first vac system. I know the standard has been the Lighthouse LH-7123 series motors, has anyone had enough experience with the newer LH-6765-OD series to have an opinion whether they are worth the extra $30 per? Also, how is best to know which motor is right for me (220v, 230v,240v)? I asked my electrician and he recommended 220v, but I'm not sure why. Any opinions?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark...
I considered the overdrive versions for a while, but went with the tried and true. I was concerned about long (6 hr+) runs and reliability, BUT have no evidence to support my concerns.

The 7123 versions (2** VAC) are all the same motor, just have specs listed for performance data differences when run on 220, 230 and 240 volts. Use the specs that apply for your actual line voltage.

As always thanks for your opinions. I ordered 4 of the 240V LH7123's.

Another question for you (or others);
1) I plan on using your K.I.S.S. manifold system coupled with a modification of your black box source 4 motor set-up. What size pipe is needed to couple the black box to the 3" ABS trunk for proper air flow?

Thanks,
Mark
