Jerry:
Brady turned me on to Oberg tools some years ago for great metal cutting end mills at a fair price and they work for me. Use an upcut, speeds similar to solid surface, ramp in to every cut. Quick on line search will get you their info.

Hey Jerry. I started the post few weeks ago about this. I havent cut the metal yet....may try tomorrow. I purchased some Onsrud 63-622 which are a 0 flute endmill. I was told they work well. I am going to do the compressed air for cooling. It may not need it if I get feed and cut speed correct. I also was told to make sure you keep filings off your rails as it is a big issue. Now go get some bits and make some noise. They even have dust collectors for metal now. Here in Canada busybeetools sells them. The american version is probably Grizzly. I was told the two companies are owned by brothers. :)
