Just got the my V4g upgrade up and running today on my 2003 PRT, wow what a difference!! It is everything it is avertised to be. Thanks to Chris @ Shopbot tech support for his time. One small miscue on my part cost me several hours of agony, and Chris even ran out of ideas. Backtracked and found the problem and now it zooms.
Everything is running great. I took the forums collective advice and installed a seperate 2.0 USB card, plugged the supplied hub, and it took right off. I tried to run a speed test but have run into a problem. After I closed SB3 and tried to run the speed test it said no shopbot was detected in any port. I'm sure this is minor but I can't figure it out. The shopbot is shown on the USB tree but the speed test doesnt find it... suggestions?

Help appreciated,
Mark

How do you run a speed test? I have a 4G board and I'm curious about the speed test. Is there information on the Shopbot website regarding this test?

Phil...
if using the later 3.5.* or 3.6.** versions of SB3...
SP (for preview mode)
[U][T] (Utilities > Tools)
Select Speedtest.exe

Thanks, Gary. However, I'm confused. Should I have the Shopbot connected and run in preview mode to run the test?
