Here is a stand I cutout quick and clean last night. I will be mounting it below the table near the end. More pics to eventually follow.....

Ben - Looks good. I would add a flat 'shelf' that keys into the lower spine and throw some sand bags or other weights on it. In current form, it isn't going to be beefy enough for any serious turnings. You'd be surprised much force can get exerted...I would also tie it into the machine frame or it will walk.

Thanks Brady. I actually had a top to it, but I didn't have room on the scrap that I was using. Also, I do plan to anchor the whole thing to the machine to keep the x,y,z true. I don't want to do initial setups too many times, lol.

Ben thats neat. I like the way you can use the machine to make the machine better. Whats nice is it stimulate your creativity to be able to come up with something in your head because you know the machine can make it for you....
