Searching for "soft" ~5/8" galvanized or copper strapping. It's the type used to bind together the wooden crates that glass pop bottles were originally shipped in prior to aluminum cans. (maybe even wooden barrels?) Original stuff even had edges rolled under for safety.
U-line/Grainger offer many types for strapping loads to pallets, but their tinsile strength will not permit fasteners to pierce. I'll need to punch dome headed brads through to acheive the desired look of the assembly. While I'm asking - how about a resource for a pneumatic gun to shoot those brads?:D
Short of hiring my neighbor to cut strips with his torchmate, anyone have any direction for a resource for this type of material?
Thanks!
jeff
