I'm running VCarvePro while using the tutorial and the distortion portion of the software I must highlight the top and bottom line thereby letting the software know where I want the distorted word placed. I'm using an Apple computer but having no luck on finding the right combination of a key(s) to make it work. Anyone have a suggestion? The software works great except for this prolbem.

Stephen, a few of the guys on here use Mac's so maybe a bit more info will get you some feedback. I.e. Are you using Bootcamp, Parallels or Fusion, which version and which version of Windows do you have loaded?

I'm using parallels and windows 7 from what I've read is a MAC keyboard internally is different than a Windows keyboard. The keyboard I'm presently using is wired so any suggestions anyone puts forth is appreciated.

I use Parallels and XP and, if I understand your question, the shift key is the same. There are a few different key combinations but the shift key is not one of them. If I am not mistaken, Parallels will let you asign some Mac keys to Win keys.

I'm attempting to use the distortion on VCarve Pro the problem I'm having is when I select the word then move to select the vectors to distort the word then the word is deselected. What is the process to assign the keys to complete the task?

I don't don't know the distort text tool. Do you mean wrap text along curve?
I just did a "wrap text" test. The shift key works fine in Aspire.
Preferences in Parallels has a list of Mac to Windows keystrokes under the keyboard icon. I think that you can change some or all of them but the shift key is not in there.

Stephen,

May be a stupid question, but are you holding the shift key down when selecting the additional vector?
