These are my first few test cuts. First was just taking some of the clip art and resizing it and putting it on a piece of scrap walnut. I put a little oil on it to see what kind of detail I got. On it I had the tool path set too high and used a bit too large for the model but it was a start.

Second cut I played with Aspire making a plaque with a few different models. This is very soft pine with no sanding and using only one pass. I put one coat of stain to see how much depth it had.

Third cut was actually a test at making an actual working part. I used a double switchplate pattern and added palms to it. Again very soft pine, one pass with an 1/8" bit, no sanding, and one coat of stain for depth visualization. I will use poplar and make these for the living room and hall light swithes. (Grapes for kitchen-shell for bath et al)
