Anyone know what type of aluminium these sign blanks are made of.
I've got a customer bringing a few sheets of it over but the supplier doesnt know what it is.

found out it is 3105 aluminium
anyone have experience machining this alloy

I found out it's the same material they use for alupanel
I was wondering what bits(o-flute,oflute upcut,or twoflute)would be best for this material.
Any feeds and speeds would be great

Single spiral-O 1.2 XY, 0.7 Z w/ spiral ramp in Z @ 13-15,000 ROM should get you in the ballpark. Chipload will depend on the material itself, how intricate the design is and other things. Tweak speed or RPM as necessary. Limit XY speed to no more that 1.7 IPS since it is a single flute.
