I am working with 3lb density mini-cell foam, I cut out a whole bunch of parts for building rockets. It took a few tries but I got a good looking cut and the parts are being "stress" tested as we speak. In a few weeks if all goes well I will be cutting out the final product using 4lb density mini-cell foam (have to step up to the 4lb to get the colors we want) I am just wondering if anyone else has any input on cutting this material. maybe a better bit or a specialty bit made for this material or trick for making the edges super-pretty?

Sorry... I don't have any advice for you. But I would love to see some pics of a rocket being built on a bot:D

Its not quite a full fledged rocket, just a toy we use here at the museum. I'll have pics up soon, finishing the first prototypes now!

Also I am keeping notes and will publish my findings when I get it all figured out.
