I am looking to use Offset (for the first time), to reproduce the same piece, at multiple locations on the table. I have read a number of the threads on this, and using the "VO" command in the file seems to be the approach.
However, I'm curious as to why there is a OFFSET selection on the fill-in sheet, if you have to program it anyway. If you're going to select OFFSET "2", for instance, wouldn't you then be asked for the x,y offsets and number of repetitions?
Is it necessary to select "2", if you're going to program "VO" anyway?
And, when editing the file to create this offset, do you have to cut and paste the original commands for each rep?

Denis- consider using a master file instead of manual offsets. Its a simple way to design once, then cut multiple times in a single operation. In addition there is only one cut file to maintain.

Its documented in the User Guide (In my copy its on page 30) you may have a more recent version, but it should be near there.

The nice thing is you can edit the file and run it again if you want the same results, or edit it to make more or less parts next time.
