Plugged my PRS 48x96 in today, connected my laptop, turned the power switch on and to my surprose the router started turning.

Anybody ever had this happen before?

Just a quick thought. Could it be possible that the contact for starting spindle-router is stuck closed. I had in the past the contacts stick open so why can't it be stuck closed??

Thought about that but. It worked fine after I rebooted though. Could be intermittently sticking???

Well just for someone's information I have had to hit my e-stop and had absolutely nothing happen! The only way I could get the spindle to stop was to turn off the control box. When I did that the whole machine will shake violently to a stop. Not a good idea to do but it was necessary. Don't know why but it has happened.

The first thing I would do is make a copy of your values and then do a UR command and reload the firmware. See if that will reset your machine.
