Screen shots I'm trying to post are being rejected because of their size, Is there a trick to this? my personal tech assistants ( kids) are all in school ,so I'm on my own here.

you can go to places like www.download.com and download a "jpeg reducer" or "image file reducer" and run your screnshots or other pictures thru to reduce the "byte size" to a manageable size.
I don't know what the forum limits are here but i usually always resize my pics to 640x480 and that is small enough to be seen here with no problem.:D

Hi Mike,
Not sure which OS you are running, but there is an image resizer tool for XP, that can be found here (http://download.cnet.com/Image-Resizer-Powertoy-for-Windows-XP/3000-18487_4-10905400.html).
If running a later OS, someone made a clone that works and can be found here. (http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/)
They are Windows Power Toys, and are accessed via the right click context menu, and are pretty self explanatory.

Or, if you have Gimp available, you can export the image(s) to jpg and reduce the size.

Mike a really simple way I use is to email the pic to myself. Windows asks you if you want to resize or keep the original. Try using smaller sizes. When you receive it just drag it onto the Desktop. Hope this helps.
