I have a weird situation. My table seems to be level, both on the X and Y axis, also the Z axis seems to be level horizontially. I checked it with the level..
The problem I am having is that at the low end of the X axis the cuts are very shallow, and at the high end of the X axis they are too deep. for instance, if I run a 24 inch dado .25 inches deep, at 4 inches in on the x and Y, so I would be starting at X4 Y4 Z0. The first pass does not even scratch the board until X gets to about 12 then it goes .28 or .29 deep at X28. Second and third passes get the dado cut, but at x4 it is only like .19 deep and at x24 it is almost .4 deep.
This is not only happening with my pocket cuts, but also my profile cuts. I had to lie to my machine and tell it I was cutting .5 plywood last night so it would make a full .25 profile pass on the low X, needless to say it cut deep into my spoilboard on the high X.
With everything appearing to be level, I mean dead on bubble level, what could be causing this?
