Changing Zzero routine

Hey all,

I am working on a project at the extreme end of my Z axis and I cant use the Zzero plate as the retract move makes the z axis hit it's limit. So far I have been manually zeroing the Z, but it would be nice to be able to use the plate as it requires a number of bit changes.

Is there an easy way to mod the routine to only have it retract say, .25" after the touch?

Depends on what version of the control software you're using.

The later ones use the Safe Z value set in VC rather than &my_ZzeroSafeZ.
