Does anybody have any pictures of a dual Z dust collection set ups? I am modifing my machine and added a second Z for 5mm holes.
I have searched but haven't found any info on dual Z dust collection.

I see 2 types of shoes. One that is fixed at the work surface and the Z moves into a hole and another shoe that moves with the Z.
The first way seems good for bit changes but seems that it would be in the way sliding material under it.
The second way has lots of room to slide the material under it but will be a pain the change the bit.
Any snap off shoe versions out there?

This is what I did. The picture does not show the dust shoe on the drill. Bit changes was a little difficult at first but once I did it a few times got easier.

I think I finally worked out (mostly) a dust shoe for my PRT dual Z.
I was looking to have a shoe that would move with the Z but the bit would retract fro the shoe.
I still need to add some springs to pull the shoe up to the bottom of the router. Then I will add a piece of all-thread to get the shoe to move up and down with the Z.
I still need to add a brush to the bottom of the shoe.
I'm getting there.
