I am not sure if I am just being forgetful or what, but I am having difficulty joining vectors in a file I am designing and of course I cannot carve it.....any help would be appreciated...thanks, Dick

Looking at your dxf with my viewer i saw a few vectors that were not joined. You need to zoom in to see.
The left side horizontal spoke right under the carriage of the cannon is one
the spoke directly under that at about the 7 oclock position has a vector at the bottom making it a 3 sided box whereas the spokes at the wheel base are not made the same way

here are a couple more pics. Under barrel you have unconnected double vectors

Thanks Jerry...that's it...it is actually a symbol for a local NH town that is celebrating their 250th Anniversary...no one seemed to have a dfx so I had to scan it and then import it and do a lot of vector work. what is confusing to me is that I had the software select all open vectors and then click on the symbol to join them all...and had some luck...is it easier to go into a dxf and get it right and then import that into Aspire for carving??? Dick

I did that all in Aspire. Just had to do some cuttings and joining
