Although I am still working on the issues of burning up spindles  I am up and running and trying not to fall behind. That being said, I bet the GURU's of the forum have an easy / faster solution for a recently acquired project.

I am working on molds for a plastics company and they have a tile design but, the texture is not only random it is "spotty" there is basically little pock marks all in random size and shape. I can, of course, spend the next couple days drawing 9 million little goofy shapes and sizes OR have a smart person tell me how to make this fancy parworks software work for me.:D I have played with the texture function a bit but, kind of a bunch of straight lines in various patterns. Not really what I am going for.

Any ideas?

I can't help specifically with partworks but it might be good if you posted a picture of what you are trying to do so someone could see what it is you are trying to emulate and could better tell you how to accomplish it.

might be you could do what you want with the fluting toolpath...but sounds like you may need to make a relief model

If you have an existing sample, try taking a picture of it, making sure your camera is perpendicular to the surface, then import and trace it. This will give you a good starting point if you want to alter it.
