Hello, and please help this humble beggar once again....
I am finally cutting the railing caps discussed in my previous thread, using the Aspire generated model (instead of my Rhino model being imported into Aspire). The roughing pass went perfectly.....
I loaded the finishing toolpath file, and before any cutting began, I got the following screen message:
"Table Limit Violation.
Z Axis Beyond Software Table Limits!
"OK" to Temporarily Disable Limit Checking and Continue this File, or ........"
I terminated the operation. How do I get past this newest problem? Your help will be appreciated as always! Chuck
Notes:
a) For the roughing pass, I used a 4" overall length 1/2" endmill (fluted section was 2 3/8"). My finishing bit is a 3/4" dia. box core bit, (fluted section is 1 1/4" long).
I mention this, because I think this is the same error message I got when I had used my endmill, to try and cut my stock that was mounted on a "sled", that made the stock too tall to cut with my long bit, as I hit the zmax limit when attempting to zero my bit to the top of my stock.
But that is not the problem this time, as my stock is on the table top, and the error message is coming with my short bit this time.
