How do you move back to 3.6.44

Could some kind soul outline the correct procedure to deleting 3.8 and going back to 3.6-44? What does one do to avoid duplicated drivers etc. The control computer is not on the internet but I have 3.6 on a memory stick. Is the firmware in that file? Had to give up on 3.8 because of continued comms problems even on very simple jobs.

What I would do is go to add/remove programs and remove what you want. Once that is done, install the one you want, also do the firmware on the reload.
